Service was OK. I had an appointment for 12:30 and arrived a few min early. Seemed to take a little longer than expected for an oil change. Also they did not go over the inspection report with me and did not tell me anything was wrong with the battery. I got a text that showed one item needed attention. Battery evidently failed and the report showed it was bad and needed replacing. I was not told this in person. I didn't open the text report right away as I assumed all was well with the vehicle. I drove to mckinney from Trenton specifically for the oil change so it would have been nice to know this while I was still in town and could have gotten it taken care of. Still the customer service rep Collin should have gone over the inspection report with me upon checkout.
Peggy – Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry that your most recent service visit did not fully meet your expectations. We generally let customers know that they should expect an oil change service to take about an hour because in addition to the oil change, we also perform a complimentary vehicle health inspection (VHI). On your VHI, the only item we inspected that did not pass was the CCA test on your battery (about 20% low) which we wanted to bring to your attention. However, given the size of your vehicle’s engine (3.0 L) combined with the test result (639 CCA), and also the location of your battery, we did not believe it was appropriate to recommend replacing your battery at this time. In retrospect, we should have explained to you more clearly why we were not recommending that you replace your battery despite the test result.
