Auto Care Clinics
Do you know a teenager or “moms” group that would be interested in an on-site Auto Care Clinic? These events typically run for about 1 – 1.5 hours in the evening, or we can customize the event as appropriate for your group. We’ll cover “Auto Care 101” with a variety of tips and information on basic auto care, vehicle safety, etc. Historically, we’ve held these events for Girl Scouts (for their merit badge) or other groups (e.g. book clubs, Bunko groups, NCL, YMSL, etc.) that are looking for something different for their monthly event or for their teenage group (e.g. with kids just on the cusp of getting their driver’s licenses). We’ll provide the venue, the snacks, and the information. We just need you to help us organize the event and to then participate!

Fundraising Events – Car Wash
If your non-profit youth group would like to hold a car wash event as a fundraiser, Honest-1 McKinney would welcome the opportunity to help you out. If you’ll provide the event marketing, the kids and the car wash supplies, we’ll provide the water, the parking lot and our lobby (including drinks/snacks for your guests while they’re waiting). This is truly an opportunity for a “win/win”!
Due to safety concerns for your group and the need for you to have full access to our facility during the event (parking lot and lobby), these car wash events can only be held on Sundays when our regular business is closed. Opportunities to host these events are limited, so please contact the shop and ask for Blake if you’d like to get more details. Together, let’s clean some cars in McKinney and help you raise some money for your group!
